Clarity Mine Closure is an independent mine closure advisory practice founded by Jo Heyes.
Clarity helps mining companies make better closure decisions by bringing together the technical, operational, commercial, regulatory, stakeholder and strategic aspects of closure.
Clarity is not intended to be a traditional engineering consultancy or a provider of individual technical studies. The value is in seeing across the whole closure problem, identifying where the important decisions and uncertainties sit, challenging assumptions where necessary, and helping clients turn technical information into practical, defensible decisions.
A key part of the offering is the ability to work with existing internal teams and other consultants. Clarity can sit across a multidisciplinary closure programme, bringing together the work of different specialists and helping ensure that the individual pieces form a coherent overall strategy.
The practice is deliberately senior and specialist. Jo works directly with clients and their teams rather than building a large consulting model.
